Project Description

Traffic Calming is vital for several reasons, as it directly contributes to creating safer, more sustainable, and livable communities. Here are some key reasons why Traffic Calming is crucial:

With this in mind, the City of Hollywood, Florida has identified the need for traffic calming and control in all 6 of the City’s Districts and will be implementing traffic calming measures and devices Citywide.

All speed tables for District 2 have been completed.  Signage for District 2 is in process.

The proposed traffic calming devices are recommendations and subject to approval by both Broward County and the City.
